The AGIR Niord wing is specially designed for twin sets and offers stability, control, and confidence during long (technical) dives. The donut-shaped, 360° bladder ensures an even gas distribution, making adjustments to buoyancy smooth and predictable in any position.
- Outer: Durable Cordura 1000, designed to withstand wear and years of intensive use.
- Inner bladder: Reinforced Nylon 400, puncture-resistant and ultrasonically welded for maximum reliability.
- Inflator: High-flow hose with a robust K-style head for consistent, reliable performance.
- Optimised trim: Dual mounting positions allow for fine-tuning the placement of the wings for balanced buoyancy and efficient ventilation.
- OPV placement: Bottom-mounted OPV with nylon drawstring, designed for a secure grip, even with thick gloves, while minimising the risk of entanglement.
- Sleek bladder design: Smooth gas transfer in the wing ensures a quick, effective release of excess gas without unnecessary movement.
The Niord integrates seamlessly with the AGIR backplate system. The backplates are available in aluminium and 3mm or 6mm thick stainless steel. If necessary, weight pockets can be attached to the harness. The advantage of the Agir weight pockets is that they can be placed both horizontally and vertically.
- Extra holes in the waistband for harness adjustments and compatibility with AGIR ballast bags.
- Increased curvature in the backplate to prevent contact of the cylinder bolts with your drysuit, which improves comfort during long dives.
- Option for plastic-coated nuts, which simplify tightening and ensure glove-friendly handling.
Together, the Niord wing and the AGIR plate system create a twin-tank solution designed for reliability, comfort, and control. Ideal for divers who go deeper or wish to extend their bottom time with confidence.
