The Xdeep Stealth 2.0 Tec is a sidemount buoyancy control system engineered specifically for technical, cave, and deep wreck diving. Its design objective is to provide superior buoyancy control, trim, and hydrodynamic efficiency when managing the significant negative buoyancy of multiple steel cylinders and decompression stages. This is achieved through a high-capacity 19 kg (42 lbs) lift wing combined with the anatomically precise Stealth 2.0 harness.

The Xdeep Stealth 2.0 Tec wing is also available in a customisable version for a surcharge where you can have two colour tones on your wing and embroider your name on the back and several other options. To order a custom wing create your configuration on the Xdeep Tuneup website and send us an e-mail with the private configuration code you will receive from Xdeep. Manufacturing time for customised wings is between 2 - 6 weeks and customised wings cannot be returned.

Core Functionality and Stability

The system's primary functionality centers on delivering stable, predictable trim and minimizing water resistance. The 'Tec' wing's anatomical shape distributes its 19 kg of lift precisely along the diver's torso and center of gravity, mitigating bladder "taco" effect and ensuring horizontal trim, even when fully inflated.

The structural independence of the harness from the wing is a critical design feature. This separation ensures that bladder inflation does not constrict the diver or alter the harness fit. This modularity, combined with a robust central weight management system integrated onto the harness spine, provides a stable and adaptable platform for managing complex gas configurations in demanding environments.

Construction and Technical Details

Durability is achieved through a dual-shell wing construction. The outer shell is fabricated from Cordura® 1100 dTEX, a material selected for its exceptional resistance to abrasion, punctures, and degradation in confined overhead environments. The inner bladder is constructed from Nylon 440 dTEX with a 0.215 mm TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) coating, ensuring high-frequency (HF) welding integrity and absolute air retention.

The Stealth 2.0 harness utilizes polyamide webbing of varying stiffness: rigid webbing is used for the waistbelt to provide support for D-rings and stage cylinders, while softer webbing is used for the shoulder straps to enhance fit. All D-rings, tri-glides, and hardware are fabricated from 316 marine-grade stainless steel for maximum corrosion resistance.
