By turning this plug in your cylinder valve, you prevent your diving cylinder from accidentally emptying and leaving you with an empty cylinder at the water's edge. This is already inconvenient with a compressed air fill, but even more so when you had a Trimix fill in the cylinder.
This plug fits a standard G5/8 DIN cylinder valve and is equipped with a vent. The vent valve can be opened and closed with a standard Allen key. This allows you to release leaked breathing gas, enabling you to unscrew the plug from the cylinder valve.
